As well as the official Stranger Things 5 release dates, Netflix’s huge Tudum live event delivered another spooky treat at its May 31 celebration in Los Angeles: the first look at Guillermo del Toro’s forthcoming Frankenstein.
Guillermo is set to adapt the legendary 1818 Mary Shelley novel and bring it to our screens this coming November, with Oscar Isaac playing the titular Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi starring as his terrifying creation, and the likes of Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz also in the fantastic cast.
A brief synopsis reads: “Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.”
