New highlights

Mayday Parade feat. Knuckle Puck – Who's Laughing Now

Has it really be 20 years of Mayday Parade already? Time's forward march is unrelenting, isn't it? Anyway, happy birthday to the Florida pop-punk heroes, who are marking the big two-oh with a special three-part EP, Sweet. Here, they've teamed up with their old mates Knuckle Puck for a banging bit of thumb-biting at those who didn't think they'd make it this far. Many happy returns, pop-punk blokes.

Militarie Gun feat. Dazy – Tall People Don't Live Long

Note: Ian Shelton is not medically qualified to give that title as fact. Michael Jordan is both famously tall, and also 62 years old. The point Ian, his Militarie Gun bandmates, and Dazy are making here, though, is about the perils of snooty loftiness. And they've done so to music that's drowning in ’90s vibes, sounding not unlike a mid-point between Beck and Eels.

Pinkshift – Evil Eye

Hello, Pinkshift. Been a minute. And it's a much heavier iteration of the Baltimore bangers that we've previously encountered. Evil Eye rides along on a dirty, beefy bass riff, with a sassy, aggy vibe that's very welcome indeed. More of this sort of thing, plz.
