New highlights

1. Foo Fighters – Caught In The Echo

Apparently with a mission to make this a Hot Grohl Summer, the latest cut from Foos' forthcoming Your Favorite Toy album – its opening track – has a load of classic Foo bits: distorted vocals, big chorus that sounds kind of like Rush, a build-up that'll sound immense at Anfield in June.

2. Black Veil Brides – Vindicate

Black Veil Brides have finally announced their new album, coming in May, after dropping singles for what feels like forever. This title-track sees Andy Biersack and his ghoulish crew putting on a Danny Elfman hat and going full heavy-jazz-hands. More than before, like. Then they drop a massive breakdown and divebombing guitar solo in the middle. Which is great, natch.

3. Kid Bookie feat. Corey Taylor – BLAME

Kid Bookie's return is already a head-spinner, with its jittering beats colliding with chunky guitars and a twisted chorus. Then Corey Taylor turns up to answer the question of what he'd sound like spitting a load of grime bars. If the collab was unexpected, the results are even wilder. Good work, both of you.
