1. Sweet Pill – No Control

Something to look forward to in the opening months of 2026: Sweet Pill are dropping their second album Still There's A Glow in March. As an early Christmas present, have No Control, a fizzy banger that's bursting with ’90s alt. energy. Pretty sweet.

2. A.A. Williams – Just A Shadow

A.A. Williams returns with an even more vast and stirring sensibility than before. Describing Just A Shadow, she calls it, “An ode to the darkness inside. You’ve tried to resist it and step into the light, but you’re scared that you’re nothing without the dark.” It is, appropriately, covered in velvety shadow. It's also brilliant.

3. Bilmuri – HARD2TELL

Last spotted on Bad Omens' recent arena extravaganza, Bilmuri continues to make friends with this zippy newie here. Once again, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but his genre-hopping style and boundless energy mark him out as an artist all of his own.
