1. Electric Callboy – Hypercharged
To mark the announcement of their new album TANZNEID, coming on August 7, German Tekkno terrors Electric Callboy have teamed up with online game Brawl Stars for this big-beats-banger. As ever, being Callboy, it's about as subtle as a trip to the toilet in Berghain. And being Callboy, it's massively, stupidly fun.
2. Waterparks – PROWLER
Not a Waterparks nod to the opening track from Iron Maiden's debut album, which turned 46 earlier this week, but a big, electro-charged thumper from the forthcoming album from Awsten and co. Which actually sounds a lot more jolly than the frontman's description of the song as a snapshot of an isolating time.
3. Cassyette – Oops (it's a bad idea)
She's baaack. And it sounds like Cassyette's spent the past year only listening to Lady Gaga's Mayhem album, then adding a load of her own attitude and a womping great bassline. Which is a good idea, actually.
