Fresh from his wholesome appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jack Black has been doing the rounds on U.S. TV and just made a My Chem-inspired cameo on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.

The actor and Tenacious D frontman appeared in a new viral sketch entitled Goth Kid On Vacation, in which a reggae duo – comprised of Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim – perform a song about… well… it says it all in the name, really.

Mid-song, Jack appears to suddenly add an emo flavour to the tune, channelling 2006-era Gerard Way and singing how, ‘When I was a young boy / My parents took me down to Jamaica / For my high school spring break / They said, ‘Come to the pool’ but / I stayed in the room with my graphic novels / So I could masturbate.’ Lovely…

In the video’s YouTube comments, Willis Williams writes of the experience of filming the whole thing: “I was the bassist on stage. I cannot tell you much we were cracking up filming this. We all just KEPT LAUGHING the entire day.”
