My Chemical Romance’s stunning Long Live The Black Parade North American stadium tour continues to deliver: at last night’s Dodger Stadium performance, the band unveiled a never-before-heard track called War Beneath The Rain.
After playing The Black Parade in its entirety at the massive Los Angeles venue on July 26, the second half of their set opened with cellist Clarice Jensen performing From A To B. Immediately after that, vocalist Gerard Way reflected on the time his band “were making a record that never came out [in 2012], and this is one of the songs we really love from it”, referring to their scrapped fifth album The Paper Kingdom (which was never released due to their break-up in 2013).
With late producer Doug McKean’s family in attendance at the show, Gerard dedicated War Beneath The Rain to them – watch fan footage of the whole thing below:
