See My Chemical Romance perform an unreleased song, War Beneath The Rain, live in LA
At last night’s Dodger Stadium spectacular, My Chemical Romance unveiled War Beneath The Rain from their 2012 pre-break-up project, The Paper Kingdom.
My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way is set to sing and play bass with new project The Mock-Ups, alongside members of The Interrupters.
A new band called The Mock-Ups are launching very soon, apparently.
An exciting post from Gauzy Records on Instagram reveals that the all-star group are comprised of My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way on vocals and bass, The Interrupters’ Kevin Bivona, Jesse Bivona and Aimee Interrupter on keys/production, drums and backing vocals, respectively, and Fender’s Michael Schulz on guitar.
There’s already a single on the way, which is entitled I Wanna Know Your Name. The track was engineered by the late Doug McKean, who previously worked with everyone from My Chem to Green Day and Paramore, and who MCR paid tribute to at their LA show in July. Doug sadly passed away in 2022, which suggests that this project has been in the works for several years already.
