Alissic is back with a brand-new single, CONCRETE.

Having shared a string of solo songs in 2022, the musician (who is the wife of Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes, and designer of the band’s POST HUMAN: NeX GEn album cover) is now in a position to be self-releasing her work, having broken free of an apparent “corporate curse”.

“I used to sell my face for a living, but I always wished to sell my heart,” Alissic says in a statement, announcing where she’s at in her music career right now. “So, five years I ago, I made a song in my bedroom, called like, and my dream came true. It went (kind of) viral, and faster than you can say, ‘Holy poop!’ I found myself in a fierce battle among Earth’s major music labels.

“After forging an alliance, I released a bunch of songs that amassed millions of streams and toured the planet. At first, I was quite the happy chappy. But soon, I became disenchanted with earth’s music industry, who to me, seem more interested in making social media celebrities than the next true musician.

“It wasn’t easy, but I’ve finally broke free of their corporate curse. And I’ve spent the last two years creating the music that truly reflects how I feel inside. Soon, I will embark on my maiden voyage. I hope you will join me on the journey.”
