Netflix have released a spooky, snazzy new family portrait ahead of the premiere of season 2 of Wednesday.

Before the first four episodes of the smash show debut on August 6 (and the subsequent four drop on September 3), we’re getting a nice big look at the Addams Family as they prepare to come back to our screens – although, as the caption cautions: “This isn’t a first look, it is a warning.”

In the video we of course see Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, as well as Morticia (played by Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmán), Grandmama Hester Frump (new cast addition Joanna Lumley), Lurch (Joonas Suotamo), Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez).

Speaking with Tudum, executive producer Alfred Gough enthuses of this forthcoming new season: “Wednesday Season 1 was a table setter, but there’s still so much of the world left to see. It’s been exciting to expand the scope and the vision of the show this season.”

“We have a broader canvas and more toys to play with,” adds co-creator and co-showrunner Miles Millar. “The world of Nevermore is much expanded – and we had a great time doing it.”
