The big review: Damnation Festival 2024
What happened when Nails, Gatecreeper, Cradle Of Filth and a ton more brought the noise to Manchester for the biggest Damnation Festival yet.
Due out in the autumn, HBO Max have unveiled a new look at The Batman follow-up series The Penguin, starring the practically unrecognisable Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb.
A brand-new trailer for The Batman follow-up series The Penguin has been released.
Starring Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, and set in the immediate aftermath of 2022’s The Batman movie, the eight-episode DC Studios drama will be released in the autumn.
And while this new trailer doesn’t give too much away just yet, you can hear The Penguin recalling (transcribed via Variety), “When I was a kid, there was a gangster, real old-school type. Rex Calabrese. He was a big deal. He helped people. He saw you on the street, he’d call out to you.
“When I was 14 or something, he has a heart attack and dies, still holding a cigar. In my neighbourhood, they throw a parade in his honour. A friggin’ parade. It wasn’t fancy, but it was a gesture, a show of love, of what he meant.
“Can you imagine to be remembered like that?”
The Penguin will also star Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown and Michael Zegen.
