The big review: Slam Dunk Festival 2025
Once again, it’s a weekend to remember as ADTR, Neck Deep, Hot Milk, Alkaline Trio, Scowl and many more bring the noise to Hatfield and Leeds at Slam Dunk 2025…
See Scowl perform their completely brilliant single Tonight (I’m Afraid) on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Scowl are continuing to take over, fresh from the release of their incredible 5/5-rated album Are We All Angels.
The Bay Area hardcore faves just made their U.S. television debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, performing excellent March single Tonight (I’m Afraid).
Speaking to Kerrang! recently about the band’s growth and how they don’t feel confined to just hardcore, vocalist Kat Moss explained, “It’s so important for me, personally and for this band, to practise this radical expression, whether that’s writing breakdowns and two-step parts, or writing choruses and poppy bubblegum hooks.
“We’re going to do it, whether people like it or not, because it’s personal. I love hardcore, but it’s not my prerogative, and I’m okay with that. I think that, in and of itself, is very hardcore, on the ethos side of things.”
