Connor Sweeney drops brutal debut single with his new band, TheBoyShadow

Former Loathe guitarist Connor Sweeney has officially launched his brand-new project, TheBoyShadow.

Having departed the Liverpool gang back in 2021, Connor has apparently been chipping away at all things TheBoyShadow for the past four years, with a press release describing how he “processed his demons and was able to funnel them into the songs, surrounded by fellow artists who feel like family”.

You can hear the first results of that now, courtesy of their debut single Give Me A Seam & I’ll Show You The Meaning. The brutal track arrives with an accompanying music video, and sees the band – whose other members are still seemingly under wraps – joining the Roadrunner roster.
