Slayer launch Slaytanic Verses online museum
The kings of thrash have opened their archives for a very cool trawl through their four-decade history.
With Hurricane Helene disrupting Slayer’s planned appearance at 2024’s Louder Than Life, the thrash legends have revealed they’ll be back to play next year…
Having returned to the stage for the first time since 2019 this year, we’ve got even more good news from the Slayer camp: the band will also be performing live in 2025, too!
The thrash titans have revealed they’ll be headlining Kentucky’s Louder Than Life in September, having been scheduled to play in 2024 but cancelling due to the effects of Hurricane Helene (‘the band will be headlining the festival next year to give fans another chance to see their much-discussed reunion set,’ reads a press release).
Says Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents: “We can’t wait to welcome fans back to finish what we started this year and celebrate the return of Slayer. Our team is hard at work finalising an incredible line-up that we can’t wait to reveal this winter. It’s going to be epic, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in Louisville next September.”
Louder Than Life will take place from September 18 – 21, 2025 at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
Let’s wait and see (with our fingers crossed) if Slayer add any more tour dates…
