This is a news post we did not anticipate having to write today: Slayer have announced a final world tour. Yep, the thrash metal icons are ending their touring life as a band. With over 35 years of touring under their belts, they've definitely put in the hours, but this is still pretty heartbreaking.
They posted a video on their social media channels with vintage tour posters, live clips and shots of the band over the years, all soundtracked by their classic, Raining Blood.
"The end of days is near" appears on the video with the confirmation that North America dates are soon to be announced, with worldwide ones more than likely to follow.
In the meantime, let's all collectively scream "SLLLAAAYYEEERRRR!!" while hugging our copies of Reign In Blood.
