Metallica announce massive 2026 Euro and UK tour, including two nights in London
Metallica are coming next summer, and they’re bringing Gojira, Knocked Loose, Avatar and Pantera with them.
Next month’s sold-out Back To The Beginning farewell spectacular is getting the livestream treatment, so fans all around the world can watch Ozzy’s final onstage appearance with the heavy metal legends.
Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne have just revealed that July 5’s final show is going to be livestreamed globally.
Fans all across the world will be able to watch Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward reunite for the first time in 20 years at the band’s local Villa Park, as well as the likes of Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Gojira, Alice In Chains and even more who are all appearing on the day (still can’t get over how incredible that is, tbh).
“We had such an overwhelming demand from fans from around the globe, who couldn’t get tickets to the show, and they took to social media, pleading with us to broadcast a livestream of the show,” explains Sharon Osbourne. “[Given that] this is such a historic event, we just couldn’t let them down.”
Back To The Beginning will be captured by Mercury Studios, who are partnering with streaming partner Kiswe, and fans will be able to watch it all unfold on the day from 3pm onwards. If you’re not around on July 5, the stream will also be available in its entirety for 48 hours afterwards.
“Mercury Studios are incredibly proud to be involved in capturing this monumental milestone at Villa Park,” says MD Kelly Sweeney. “Back To The Beginning will be an unforgettable experience, and our aim is to deliver this moment to fans worldwide, wherever they are, so they don’t miss out on seeing music history being made.”
