Some truly wild videos have hit the internet following Slipknot's gig in Phoenix, Arizona last night (November 2), with fans starting a massive bonfire during the performance and the band even having to pause proceedings as a result.
According to setlist.fm, the fire was started on the lawn of the Ak-Chin Pavilion 11 songs into the set, during All Out Life, with Maggots circle-pitting and moshing around the huge blaze. Of course, it couldn't last, and the ’Knot ultimately had to then cut a couple of tracks (Duality and Spit It Out) from their set while it was put out.

In (hopefully) less dangerous news, Slipknot have seemingly started teasing new material. Ahead of this Friday's Knotfest Los Angeles, Corey Taylor and the gang launched new NFT website thechapeltownrag.com and have made a total of nine snippets of music available to listen to and also redeem.
Speaking about Knotfest last week, Corey enthused: "The cool thing is that we really worked on a pretty fucking killer set to put together, which we kind of pieced together over some rehearsals – just kind of trial and error, putting the show together and really got it locked tight.
"But, having said that, we’ve got some cool surprises ready for Knotfest LA. Just for the fact that our career’s kind of been leading towards this now. And the fact that we have such a stacked line-up – not just Bring Me [The Horizon], but, obviously, Killswitch [Engage], FEVER 333, Code Orange, my son’s band Vended, my wife’s dance [group] is gonna be doing an incredible show right before Bring Me plays.
"We’re all really, really stoked that we’re gonna be able to do something really special for LA, and, honestly, our first real stadium show. So that’s what I’m most stoked about – not just our show, but just the fact that we’re putting something on as a testimony to the music we love, the fans that we love to play for, and just hopefully the start of something massive in the future."
