Slipknot reveal long-awaited 25th anniversary deluxe reissue

Following the exclusive ‘blood-filled’ vinyl drop earlier in the week, at long last Slipknot have announced a wider deluxe reissue of their 1999 self-titled album.

The band will unveil Slipknot (25th Anniversary Edition) on September 5 via Roadrunner Records, featuring all sorts of previously-unreleased material including Indigo Ranch demos with Ross Robinson, as well as Jay Baumgardner and Ulrich Wild Mixes.

“We loved what we did with the first record but we didn’t even know if there was gonna be anything after that,” admits guitarist Jim Root, looking back at the time. “We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours – those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario in some ways, came true for us.”
