“I’m freaking out!” Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hits Number One in the UK charts

Chin-chin!
Following in the fine tradition of bands like AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Slayer, Portland five-piece Red Fang have produced their own brand of wine.
They've teamed up with hometown winery, Teutonic Wine Company, who apparently specialise in wine in the style of the Middle Mosel Valley in Germany and France's Alsace region. They've named the tipple Red Fang Red, which we're reliably informed is a blend of varieties that have never been done before: Pinot Noir, Tannat and Gewürztraminer.
So that's what it tastes like. And it looks like this:
The wine will be officially launched at Teutonic HQ in Portland on January 13, where attendees will enjoy a tasting session while drummer John Sherman spins some tunes. If you're in the vicinity, tickets can be purchased here.
"Everyone thinks we’re very much about beer," the sticksman says of the launch, "our videos definitely portray us that way. We do drink beer, but I personally prefer wine and consequently, I’ve always wanted to make a Red Fang wine. To meet winemakers who also dig heavy music was a dream come true. The first time I went to Teutonic’s tasting room, they were playing Saxon on vinyl and I said to myself, ‘These are my people.’"
They sound like our kind of people too. So, y'know, if you fancy sending Kerrang! some samples, we wouldn't be mad about that...
