Live review: Linkin Park, London The O2
Linkin Park reintroduce themselves with new singer Emily Armstrong to an emotional, deafening audience in London, signifying a defiant, captivating future…
Listen to Mike Shinoda’s excellent new single ALREADY OVER – which he personally wrote, recorded, sang and performed every instrument on the track.
Following a whole bunch of teasing (and head-shaving), Mike Shinoda has kicked off his next chapter with a new single, ALREADY OVER.
Not only written by the Linkin Park legend but also personally recorded by Mike himself, including all the vocals and performing every instrument, it follows his ace Scream VI single with Kailee Morgue, In My Head, and is presumably a taste of what else is to come.
Speaking about how he conjured up ALREADY OVER, Mike reveals that the song “came to me as I was sitting with my favourite guitar in my hands – the same guitar I used on songs from What I’ve Done to In My Head. There was a familiar DNA to the song that I think Linkin Park fans will recognise. For me, it creates a bridge from the past to a blurry but exciting future.”
