Live review: Linkin Park, London The O2
Linkin Park reintroduce themselves with new singer Emily Armstrong to an emotional, deafening audience in London, signifying a defiant, captivating future…
Mike Shinoda and Kailee Morgue have teamed up for the thumping In My Head, which is taken from the Scream VI soundtrack.
A week on from the release of Demi Lovato’s Scream VI single Still Alive – which he co-wrote and produced – Mike Shinoda has shared his solo song for the iconic slasher franchise.
The killer new track is called In My Head and features singer-songwriter Kailee Morgue, with the pair teasing the collab all week via some amusing videos where they’re in conversation with Ghostface (*screams*).
In My Head also comes accompanied by a music video made with Kaiber.ai, and directed by Jacky Lu.

Upon the song’s release, Kailee tweeted: “Just want to say how grateful I am for everything, thank you so much Mike Shinoda for giving me this opportunity and to the Linkin Park fans! Y’all have embraced me with so much love and excitement – you guys are truly the best.”
Previously teasing his involvement with the movie, Mike said in a recent interview: “Up until this year, I’ve been doing a lot of writing and producing for other people. And I recently kind of got the bug to do it for myself again. I do have a new song that’s gonna be in the movie Scream. What happened is they had reached out about: ‘Will you help us with music for the movie?’ And in the conversation I played them something and they were like, ‘Oh my god, can we use that?’”
