Since the start of the month, Mike Shinoda has been teasing that new music is on the way – and now he’s unveiled a proper snippet of what is presumably an upcoming single.
The Linkin Park icon has taken to social media to share a 23-second video, which features a silhouette of him singing and the lyrics to one of the song’s verses: ‘Bruises, broken in pieces / Spread out ’til they didn’t exist / Losing sight of what’s decent / And too righteous to know what you did.’ Yep, we dig it already.
According to Music Feeds, at the recent BIGSOUND conference in Australia during his keynote speech, Mike promised: “If you’re a fan of Linkin Park, trust me on this one, I’m gonna take you on a ride. It’s not gonna fit so perfectly into a box.”
