See Tony Hawk in the new Turnstile-soundtracked Taco Bell advert

Taco Bell have unveiled a new advert starring none other than Tony Hawk.

The skating icon has a cameo in the below clip to promote his very own build-your-own Luxe Cravings Box, which is described in a press release as ‘a full-sized, flavour-packed meal for just $5.99, made for fans who know exactly what they want’.

“Taco Bell was my fuel in the early days. It kept me going when I was chasing a dream,” explains Tony. “I gave myself a daily Taco Bell allowance and practically lived on it while skating from morning to night. So, getting to create my own box with Taco Bell along with co-creating a line of new in-game cosmetics? It’s more than just cool, it’s a full circle moment. I hope it inspires others chasing their passion to keep pushing, keep grinding, and maybe grab a taco along the way.”

The commercial also sees Taco Bell once again teaming up with Turnstile, as SEEIN’ STARS and BIRDS – from their 5/5-rated album NEVER ENOUGH – can be heard in the background. They’ve been featured before, of course, with HOLIDAY and T.L.C. TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION playing over a 2022 Nacho Fries ad, not to mention supporting the band via the Feed The Beat programme.
