Album review: Cult Of The Lamb – Hymns Of The Unholy
An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
Captured on this year’s Remember That You Will Die tour, Polyphia have released a new 16-song live album…
Following some absolutely mega shows this year, Polyphia have just unveiled a brand-new live album.
Entitled Live At The Factory In Deep Ellum, the new 16-track release was captured on April 14 at Dallas, Texas venue The Factory In Deep Ellum (duh), on the band’s Remember That You Will Die tour.
Speaking to Kerrang! for the band’s debut Cover Story around the time of those gigs, Polyphia’s Tim Henson reflected on their success so far, and their approach of simply just being themselves: “As long as, as an artist, you’re you, you like what you’re doing, you care about it, and you talk with it like you’re proud of it, that’s the best thing that you can do,” he explained.
“Dude, chances are your fans will at the very least be able to appreciate the fact that you fucking just did what you thought would be good,” Scott LePage agreed. “Of course, there’s a line. If you want to fart on the microphone in the middle of a song, that’s a silly goose moment.”
We’re assuming there’s no such farting in Live At The Factory In Deep Ellum – but listen now and find out…
