Following some fun teasing last week, Jimmy Eat World have just announced three giant Bleed American 25th anniversary shows.

The band will be celebrating a quarter-of-a-century of their beloved 2001 fourth album in Halifax, Cardiff and London in August 2026 – with the latter date marking their biggest-ever UK headliner.

“When we printed the last mix of Bleed American, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves,” says frontman Jim Adkins. “There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release.

“Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”

They’ll be joined by special guests Rise Against, The Get Up Kids and Jay Som (London only), with tickets going on general sale this Friday, December 5 from 10am.
