If there’s one thing the internet has a lot of, it’s brilliant Jack Black videos. But they never, ever get boring, and the Tenacious D frontman’s latest endeavour – which was captured and put online, and has already warmed the hearts of thousands of people – is one of the best, sweetest things you’ll see all week.
Earlier this month, the musical and acting superstar hosted the Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care event, helping to raise funds in southern California for hospice services and end-of-life care for children. There, Jack met 15-year-old Abraham, who has been with TrinityKids for the past year with Pearson syndrome (via Upworthy).
Abraham’s favourite movie is School Of Rock – and, in particular, he loves the song In The End Of Time (both excellent choices!). And so, after being told this information, Jack immediately began to serenade Abraham with the lyrics as his Dewey Finn character from the film, complete with some excellently sung guitar riffs to boot.
Not only was it a wonderful moment in itself, but according to Upworthy, Abraham’s mum Veronica has said that, “It’s almost been a week since the meet and Abraham is still talking about how he got to meet Jack.” Awwww.
