Hundred Reasons have just announced that their gig at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall this spring will be their final headline performance ever.

Joined by post-hardcore heroes Rival Schools in support, and with a string orchestra performing with them on the night, the beloved alt.rock band – vocalist Colin Doran, guitarist Larry Hibbitt, bassist Andy Gilmour and drummer Andy Bews – will be bowing out in style.

“This show was always on our bucket list so tying it in with 25 years of the band seemed like a great way to mark this milestone,” explains Colin. “But the more we planned for this show the more we started to feel that there wasn’t anything else that we wanted to do beyond this.

“We released an amazing album in 2023 [the 4/5-rated Glorious Sunset] and had an awesome tour finishing at the Eventim Apollo. We have seen bands run themselves into the ground and it’s not something we’ve ever felt okay with. So with this in mind we have made the decision to make the show at The Royal Albert Hall our last-ever headlining show, and to leave on a high. It’s gonna be a celebration of all things HR with some deep cuts and songs being rearranged, including a live string section, which is something properly new for us to do.

“It’s never easy to make these decisions but then the flip side is why not just leave a good looking corpse?”
