Walter Schreifels' legendary post-hardcore outfit Rival Schools will be celebrating their United By Fate and Pedals albums in May.
Post-hardcore heroes Rival Schools have announced a run of dates in the UK and Ireland in May. The band, made up of members of legendary hardcore acts Youth Of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, Judge and Quicksand among others, will be focusing on material from 2001's classic United By Fate album and 2011's Pedals. The London show will see them joining British legends Hundred Reasons as they celebrate their 25th birthday at the Royal Albert Hall.
"It's great," says guitarist/vocalist Walter Schreifels. "When we were touring behind United by Fate, we were doing it professionally, trying to make it in some way, and there’s a lot of intensity in that. Now, we’re doing it because we really enjoy it and want to be with each other and get into it. So because of that chillness, we just have a lot of laughs. Our chemistry has been there for a long time."
Catch them live at one of the dates below.
