Slipknot kicked off their 25th anniversary tour in destructive and frankly mind-blowing fashion last night in Noblesville, Indiana. Celebrating two-and-a-half decades since their game-changing debut album tore a hole in the fabric of heavy metal, the Iowan wrecking machine devoted their entire set to the self-titled masterpiece.
Opening on the unfuckwithable trio of (sic), Eyeless and Wait And Bleed, Slipknot took the Ruoff Music Center back to the turn of the millennium, picking tracks that haven't been played since 2000. Who thought we'd ever get to see No Life and Scissors live again?!
If you're heading to the Here Comes The Pain tour in the States or when it makes its way over The Pond this winter, reacquaint yourself with their debut record and get ready go down in history with one of the greatest bands of all time all over again.
