After revealing a whole load of massive plans last week, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are already delivering the goods.
The Nine Inch Nails duo have just shared a remixed version of their upcoming score for Luca Guadagnino’s sports drama Challengers, which has been reworked by German producer, songwriter and DJ Boys Noize (therefore all the songs have the word [MIXED] next to them to signify this).
The movie is due out at the end of the month on April 26, so presumably we’ll get to hear the original NIN score for Challengers then, but in the meantime Boys Noize has said of this seemingly initial version of the soundtrack (via Pitchfork): “It’s been a fun challenge to turn this into one fluid experience and take it even further by redesigning the tracks, creating new elements and changing certain parts – especially on Compress / Repress, which turns super epic in the end.
“Working with Trent and Atticus has been a dream come true; they’ve been so great and helpful during the entire process.”
