After some teasing, Nine Inch Nails have just revealed the line-up for their new festival, Future Ruins.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross themselves will be playing this “first-of-its-kind” event, which takes place across three stages at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center on November 8, 2025. Presumably they’ll be unveiling their impressive soundtrack work rather than anything from the Nine Inch Nails catalogue, because they state that, “Some of the most powerful music of our time has never been heard live – until now.”

Meanwhile, a description on the festival website explains, “Every artist is a headliner, each with their own specially curated moment. Each artist is encouraged to take big swings and reimagine their work for a live audience. Ranging from electronic sets and live bands to orchestral performances, fans have the chance to experience live debuts from composers who rarely appear onstage.”

Unsurprisingly, NIN are bringing together an impressive array of guests throughout the day: Danny Elfman, John Carpenter, Questlove, Cristobal Tapia de Veer, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin, HILDUR GUðNADÓTTIR, Isobel Waller-Bridge, Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein, Mark Mothersbaugh, Tamar-kali, Terence Blanchard and Volker Bertelmann AKA Hauschka.
