Green Day's new song Holy Toledo! is taken from upcoming movie Mark, Mary & Some Other People – a rom-com scored by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.
As well as an album of awesome throwback BBC sessions on the way in December, Green Day have revealed that they're releasing a brand-new song later this week!
The band's new track is called Holy Toledo! and is taken from upcoming rom-com Mark, Mary & Some Other People, which, as we reported last month, is scored by Fall Out Boy man Patrick Stump.
"We now interrupt your weekly BBC Live Sessions broadcasts to announce that we'll be releasing a new song this week," Green Day share. "Holy Toledo! from [Mark, Mary & Some Other People] is out everywhere this Friday."

Mark, Mary & Some Other People is due out on November 5, and is about an open relationship between couple Mary (played by Hayley Law) and Mark (Ben Rosenfield).
Holy Toledo! will follow the release of this year's single Pollyanna in May, and Here Comes The Shock in February. Watch this space…
