Here’s the weather forecast for Download Festival 2025
Suncream or wellies? Band tees or raincoats? It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and as Download Festival 2025 fast approaches, here’s how the weather in Castle Donington is looking…
Listen to three previously-unheard Green Day songs, as well as acoustic versions of Suzie Chapstick and Father To A Son from last year’s Saviors album.
Green Day have just dropped three brand-new songs.
Following last month’s Smash It Like Belushi and the recent Ballyhoo, the trio unleash more new material in the form of Stay Young, Fuck Off and Underdog – all of which are taken from today’s Saviors (édition de luxe). The extended record also includes acoustic versions of Suzie Chapstick and Father To A Son from 2024’s Saviors album, as well as the full original LP.
In our 4/5-rated review last year, we said that, “Saviors is an album that once again finds them working with producer Rob Cavallo. It’s a partnership that gets a certain something from them, in this case filtered much more simply than on the grand American Idiot, but with more learned skill than Dookie. Often, it’s simply a raw, in-the-room capture of Billie Joe’s wizardry with three chords and a feeling. Take the grungy Bobby Sox, the pop-punk rush of Coma City, or the gobby Look Ma, No Brains! – all feel direct, off the cuff, alive.”

They’re also releasing a music video for One Eyed Bastard at 4pm BST, so watch that below:
