When We Were Young Fest is on hiatus for 2026
Las Vegas emo and pop-punk nostalgia fest When We Were Young won’t be happening this year – but don’t worry, “This isn’t goodbye – it’s just a pause.”
In a UK festival exclusive Green Day will be closing next summer’s Isle Of Wight Festival, while The Prodigy are first-night headliners and Pet Shop Boys will top the bill on the Saturday.
Isle Of Wight Festival have made their first announcement for 2024 – and it’s a biggie!
Next June’s event will be headlined by The Prodigy (Friday, June 21), Pet Shop Boys (Saturday, June 22) and Green Day (Sunday, June 23) in a UK festival exclusive – the Oakland trio will be closing the fest following the release of their upcoming 14th album Saviors in January.
Elsewhere, the bill features the likes of The Darkness, Nothing But Thieves and Toyah & Robert Fripp, with plenty more names still to be announced.
“We’re thrilled to announce our 2024 headliners today and to continue to showcase a truly exciting array of talent for next year’s Festival,” says promoter John Giddings. “From globally-recognised and pioneering artists, to chart-topping talent and rising stars, we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the island next year. Fans should stay tuned for more news soon!”
