Ghost are unveiling frontman Papa V Perpetua on Wednesday… and a new single?!
Ghost are promising a “phantasmagoric spectacle” as they prepare to welcome Papa V Perpetua to the world this Wednesday, March 5.

Following a typically genius teaser launch, involving a livestream and white smoke coming from a billboard in Las Vegas (which is the same thing that happens from the Sistine Chapel chimney when an actual new Pope has been chosen), Ghost have confirmed the arrival of one Papa V Perpetua.
The band will be welcoming their new frontman to the world tomorrow – Wednesday, March 5 – at 12am ET (which is 5am UK time), and they’re promising a “phantasmagoric spectacle”, which we absolutely don’t doubt for one second.
“We wish to inform you that our Sin City council is complete,” reads an announcement from the band, along with a video of the aforementioned smoking billboard. “Papa V Perpetua’s ascension is imminent. So let’s gather together at 12am EST on Wednesday, March 5. All are welcome to escape the travails of daily life and to become one with the phantasmagoric spectacle.”
They also point to a YouTube video entitled Satanized, which we’re hoping and assuming is a lead single from their next album?!
