Ghost launch cryptic livestream from Las Vegas: “V is coming…”

After revealing at the start of February that their all-new Papa V Perpetua will be playing Ozzy Osbourne’s final show with Black Sabbath in July, Ghost look like they might be introducing him to the world a bit sooner that that…

The Swedish rock’n’roll heroes have just launched a new livestream – or “FumataCast”, as they’re calling it – from Las Vegas, which at the time of writing is showing a huge billboard that reads “V is coming” from different angles. “We wish to inform you, What Happens in Vegas, Stays on the FumataCast!” Ghost say. “Let us live in the anticipation of what could be.”

As fans on Reddit have pointed out, “fumata” means “smoke” in Italian, and for those interested in their Vatican history, when white smoke comes from the Sistine Chapel chimney it means that a new Pope has been elected… so perhaps if we see any smoke on this livestream, it means that Papa V Perpetua’s unveiling could be imminent?!
