It’s official: Ghost’s Skeletour finishes in February 2026. But is this the end of the band’s live plans for now, or might we get a Re-Skeletour in the future?!
Ghost have revealed that the final date of their 2026 North American Skeletour marks the end of the whole run.
In the brand-new episode of their long-running Chapter series, Frater Gets A Visit, a music video for Skeletá track Cenotaph confirms that the Skeletour will end as soon as February 23 at California’s Intuit Dome. But does that mean Papa V Perpetua will be taking a break, or is there going to be a Re-Skeletour happening down the line (à la the Imperatour and Re-Imperatour on the previous Impera cycle)?
In the May 2025 episode of the video series – Chapter 21: Is Someone Feeling Psalty? – the date of December 2026 was floated about for a potential meeting between current frontman Papa V and his predecessor Frater Imperator (formerly Papa Emeritus IV/Cardinal Copia). And in the newly-released Frater Gets A Visit, Cardi promises that he’ll “stick around for a while”, as well as wondering if V “would wanna spend some time with me”. So perhaps Ghost are cooking something new up under a different name, and fans will eventually get to see the twins meet?! Let’s wait and see…
