My Chem have sold out their 2025 Black Parade stadium tour, with 365,000 tickets snapped up
My Chemical Romance’s epic stadium run next year – which will take the band across North America for 11 huge dates – has sold out within hours…
Frank Iero has posted a video response to Joe Jonas's recent My Chem reunion rumours.
Remember last June when Joe Jonas – of all people – leaked the news that My Chemical Romance might be getting back together? The Jonas Brother was doing a radio interview when one of the show’s hosts brought up My Chem. To which Joe Jonas replied: "I've got some dirt. My Chemical Romance apparently were rehearsing next to us in New York recently, which I thought they broke up, so I don't know."
Well, Frank Iero has addressed that rumour in an Instagram story posted by Future Violents (and Thursday) drummer Tucker Rule. In it, Frank recreates/makes fun of what (and how) Joe Jonas said in the interview. Not only does he mirror the delivery of the 29-year-old pop star, but he’s also wearing fake eyebrows.
"Hey, got a little dirt for ya, a little scoopy poop,” says Frank in his best Joe Jonas impression. “Apparently the Ramones are playing down the hall from us in Moscow. Thought those guys were supposed to be dead or something. I don't know what that's about.”
Watch the video below:
What Joe Jonas actually saw -- or thought he saw -- remains a mystery, it’s probably not what he thinks it is. After all, Frank has been incredibly busy with The Future Violents -- who recently released the album Barriers and who will be a guest on Kerrang!’s In Conversation With… series in New York very soon – and Gerard Way also released a few solo tracks towards the end of 2018.
Frank also said that the MCR guys get together once a year for a barbecue to discuss band business, and Ray Toro, My Chem’s lead guitarist, worked with both Frank and Gerard on separate projects over the last year.
So while it all seems pretty unlikely, you never know. And with this latest video, it could be said that Frank is protesting just a little bit too much. Hmmmm…
