Electric Callboy cancel tomorrow’s Download set: “Unfortunately Nico got sick”
With singer Nico Sallach coming down with illness, Electric Callboy have had to pull out of this weekend’s Download Festival.

Electric Callboy have just announced that they’ll no longer be performing at this weekend’s Download Festival.
The band were due to hit Donington Park tomorrow (Sunday, June 16) but have taken to Instagram to share the news that singer Nico Sallach is ill, and as such they won’t be able to make it.
“Hey people of the Download Festival, it breaks our hearts but we have some bad news for you,” reads a statement.
“Unfortunately Nico got sick, so we won’t be able to play our show at your beautiful festival tomorrow! It makes us very sad because we were looking forward to this show for a long time!
“We’re still talking about our last Download performance… it was such a great experience! You guys went crazy in that tent and we would have loved to party with you again. But sadly, we have no other choice but to cancel tomorrow’s show.
“Health is our top priority, both yours and ours. We really hope for your understanding and promise to come back ASAP! Enjoy the Download Festival 2024 and make it an unforgettable experience! We’ll see you again very soon! Love you all!”
