Spitting Glass: The band on next year’s Download line-up with no music out

As always, there’s been many exciting talking points when it comes to the recently-unveiled Download Festival line-up – and one band who have caught fans’ eyes is Spitting Glass.

Just like when the fest unveiled PRESIDENT for 2025, this is a group with absolutely no music or presence on streaming services. Unlike the masked metallers, though, Spitting Glass’ identities are out there, with the @spittingglassuk Instagram account following all five band members: Fit For An Autopsy vocalist Joe Bad, plus fellow musicians Reuben Bescoby, Danny Yates, Chris Keepin and David Ball. And, at the time of writing, they already have almost 9,000 followers.

Chris and Danny are members of north-east deathcore crew Osiah, so between that and the Fit For An Autopsy connection, does that mean Spitting Glass will be just as heavy? We can probably presume so… watch this space for more news when we have it.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park from June 10 – 14, 2026.
