Here’s when the first big Download Festival 2025 band announcement will be
Get ready: there’s less than one month until Download Festival reveal more than 60 bands for next year’s line-up…
Download have revealed a new collab with SEGA, bringing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance to Donington Park in June.
Download are teaming up with SEGA for this year’s festival.
In a first-time collab between the two, SEGA will descend on Donington Park next month to bring new game Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance direct to metalheads, to celebrate its release on June 14.
There will be eight gaming stations around the site for fans to get involved in, with a press release promising the unique experience of ‘fighting demons ahead of seeing their favourite bands’. Which sounds like a pretty good time to us.
Of course, speaking about those ‘favourite bands’, music is still what Download is all about, and this year the festival is hosting debut headline sets from Queens Of The Stone Age and Fall Out Boy, and a closing show from Avenged Sevenfold.
Elsewhere the bill includes everyone from Royal Blood to Polyphia, Bad Omens, Enter Shikari, The Offspring, BABYMETAL, Busted, Limp Bizkit, Bowling For Soup, Sum 41, Corey Taylor and more.
