January is into its final mile, which means whatever good intentions anyone has had about being good and watching what they eat and pretending they're definitely going to be really healthy has crashed and burned by now.

To celebrate as you indulge in whatever poison your vice takes the form of, Cradle Of Filth have just dropped To Live Deliciously, a sinful anthem dedicated to the joys of decadence, lust, and having three biscuits with your tea.

Says frontman Dani Filth: "The song is about the celebration of life. Of indulging in everything unfettered from the conformities of religion, fashion or state. Free from guilt or constraint. As nature intended.

"It could be read as a hedonistic life code. And a positive one if not done at the expense or the suffering of others. To delight in simply’ being’. Being alive and free in the here and now."

Along with the track, which follows on from last year's storming Malignant Perfection single, the Suffolk spooks have also announced the release of their 14th album The Screaming Of The Valkyries, out on March 21. Though the band have been working on a long-promised track with fellow East Anglian diabolist Ed Sheeran, Dani has said it won't be part of the new collection.
