Bloodstock adds five more bands to this year's festival
Bloodstock festival have announced five more bands for this year's event. Amongst the many cancelled festivals – including Glastonbury and Download – the Catton Park weekender is still scheduled to take place in August.
In a press statement from the festival, Bloodstock say that "planning is proceeding with full care and attention, in order to bring you the best event yet." This summer's also sees the fest celebrate its 20th anniversary.
"The team are closely monitoring government guidelines and co-operating with the relevant authorities to assure the best and safest environment for our Bloodstockers, bands, staff, and site workers come August and will continue to keep you updated with any further developments," continues the statement.
"Bloodstock strongly hopes that life will be getting back to normal in four months time and by then, a heavy metal party with our friends will be just the good cheer that everyone needs."

Five new bands have been announced across the weekend, who are: Lost Society, Video Nasties, Wolf Jaw, Grave Lines and Vexed.
This handful of bands join the likes of Judas Priest, Behemoth, Devin Townsend, Skindred, Hatebreed and more. Bloodstock 2020 is scheduled to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire, on August 6-9.
