Avenged Sevenfold celebrate Halloween with two more Misfits covers
Now something of an annual tradition for the band, Avenged Sevenfold have this year released not one but two Misfits covers…
If you were hoping to see Avenged Sevenfold on the road this year, it's probably not going to happen.
In not altogether surprising news, it unfortunately doesn't like we'll hear much from the Avenged Sevenfold camp this year – in terms of touring, at least.
Following last year's U.S. summer tour cancellation after frontman M. Shadows developed a "terrible viral infection", it appears that the Huntington Beach titans aren't in a hurry to get back into action – with "new babies" on the way, as well as a focus on a new record.
As confirmed by radio host Lou Brutus, guitarist Zacky Vengeance said in a text conversation with him: "I don't think we will be doing any touring this year. Got some new babies on the way and are starting to get really focused on new material. I never deal in absolutes, but right now it's leaning heavily towards 2020."

It's a shame, but it just means that the band will come back bigger and better next year.
Plus, it gives guitarist Syn Gates time to re-master the music from his pre-A7X band, Pinkly Smooth.
The group – formed by late Avenged Sevenfold drummer The Rev back in 2001 – were a short-lived project, however they did release one album, Unfortunate Snort. In a recent livestream with Rick Beato, Syn said he'd love to give fans proper versions of the music.
"It was just this crazy, clown-goblin metal, Danny Elfman-influenced stuff and it was so fun. I can't find the masters. I hear that there's actually an ugly rumour that some have surfaced, and if I can find those then I'm going to remaster it and give it to you guys."
