Avenged Sevenfold have pushed back the release of the deluxe edition of The Stage – featuring six covers and original newbie Dose, as well as four unreleased live tunes – a week.
Due to "unforeseen circumstances", the album will now come out on December 22 – just in time for Kerristmas. "The enhancements will make it worth the wait," the band promise. We believe you, guys.

In more exciting news, Avenged Sevenfold are headlining next year's Download Festival, along with the legend that is Ozzy Osbourne.
Talking exclusively to Kerrang!, frontman M. Shadows says: “It feels good, because I guess that means we didn’t fuck it up too badly the first time (laughs)! It’s obviously an honour to do it, and when we headlined it previously, that was one of our favourite shows ever.”
