CITYROCKS – who have previously gone viral for their huge flashmob covers of the likes of Metallica and Nirvana – have shared an awesome new performance of Green Day's Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, played by 150 musicians.

Performing from Romania's Bánffy Castle, many talented vocalists, guitarists, bassists and drummers of all ages gathered to collectively run through the American Idiot single (the top comment on the YouTube video jokes: "The irony of singing 'I walk alone' in a crowd that huge").

On their website, CITYROCKS describe say of their 1,500-strong band (translated to English): "We don’t care who came from, what language he speaks, what his occupation is, how old he is. We believe that music played live on real instruments is not dead because co-playing also means collaboration, so you can always create a community. That’s why we can organise many hundreds of rock flashmobs. The point is that whoever holds an instrument or a microphone will find a place with us. We respect and look forward to seeing you all, so many requests that you turn to each other."
