WILLOW is playing a special show with an orchestra later this year
WILLOW has announced that she’ll be teaming up with conductor Derrick Hodge and Color of Noize Orchestra for a unique performance at The Ford in Los Angeles.
The singer’s new emo track, <maybe> it’s my fault, follows her breakout pop-rock record lately I feel EVERYTHING.
WILLOW is deep in her feelings with her latest single and for good reason. The singer's new track, <maybe> it’s my fault, sees the 21-year-old question her accountability in an explosive break-up with another woman.
The artist, who identifies as LGBTQ+, opens up about emotive back and forth with her partner: 'It's all in my mind, it's all in my mind / I try to rewind and all of the while / I'm hurtin' inside, it's your fault.'
Speaking on the new single, WILLOW shares more on the meaning behind <maybe> it’s my fault: “It’s all too often in tender emotional states we try to blame our hurts on other people. Even though none of us are perfect, in some capacity it’s us who allow ourselves to get into situations that don’t serve our highest purpose.
"<maybe> it’s my fault explores what it’s like to hold ourselves equally accountable for the emotional pain we feel while also allowing ourselves to be human and fully process all of our feelings without shame.”
While <maybe> it’s my fault marks a new solo release for WILLOW, the singer has been getting stuck into the alternative scene. She recently collaborated with Siiickbrain for the release of Purge, and YUNGBLUD for the anthemic track, Memories.
While we expect news music is on the cards soon, WILLOW is currently gearing up for festival tour dates at Lollapalooza in Chicago, and Reading & Leeds in the UK.
