Watch the video for WILLOW’s “whimsical” new single, symptom of life

After teasing it last week, WILLOW has just unveiled a brand-new single called symptom of life.

The track follows last November’s alone, and is presumably another taste of what’s to come from her next album – the follow-up to the rocky <COPINGMECHANISM>, which was released in 2022.

The musician explains in a press release (via Rolling Stone) that her latest effort “has a very beautiful whimsical nature but holds a lot of mystery. There’s this beautiful light coming in through the piano, but also this syncopated rhythm of the bass bringing in that mysterious element. A juxtaposition of light and dark.”

Going into the accompanying self-directed video, WILLOW took to Instagram to share that it’s for “all the beautiful people who have ever gone into nature with their friends and been guided to a deeper understanding of life together by plant medicine. I hope this song and visual can bring catharsis to anyone who experiences them.”
