Panic! At The Disco and blink-182 set to headline When We Were Young 2025
Yes, and the rest of the Las Vegas mega-fest’s line-up is absolutely stacked, as ever, including the return of letlive.
See blink-182’s Travis Barker tear through Adele’s huge 2021 single Easy On Me on the drums.
When he's not being the busiest man on the planet and collaborating with pretty much everyone ever, Travis Barker frequently shares drum cover videos online, and his latest – a rocked-up version of Adele's huge single Easy On Me – has already proven to be a massive hit.
Since being uploaded to the blink-182 man's Instagram 12 hours ago at the time of writing, the awesome reimagining is already on almost one million views, with many comments calling for a full version of the 30-second snippet we've been given. And it's easy to see why: while Adele's 2021 track was already powerful on its own, Travis' new version with added drum fills and anthemic guitars somehow makes it even more gripping.
Yep, we'd definitely love a full cover of this, please…
It'll likely be another busy year for Travis, with two Machine Gun Kelly albums on the way, plus Avril Lavigne's new pop-punk LP on his DTA label.
Of course, blink had also been working on new material before bassist Mark Hoppus' battle with cancer, so there's a chance they might regroup to complete that, too. As we reported in our 22 albums to get excited for in 2022 round-up, Travis had previously revealed that the band had worked with the likes of Grimes, Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell for the record, and were "60 per cent done" with it at the start of 2021.
