When We Were Young Fest is on hiatus for 2026
Las Vegas emo and pop-punk nostalgia fest When We Were Young won’t be happening this year – but don’t worry, “This isn’t goodbye – it’s just a pause.”
Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear will tell the “unfiltered” story of the life of the blink-182 drummer after surviving a deadly 2008 plane crash.
Hulu have confirmed the summer 2026 release of new documentary film Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear.
Announced at the streamer’s Get Real House event yesterday (April 22), the movie has reportedly been a decade in the making. Via Deadline, Louder Than Fear will tell the story of the blink-182 drummer’s ‘raw and redemptive journey’ following 2008’s deadly South Carolina Learjet 60 plane crash which killed four of the six passengers on board, and left Travis critically injured along with his best friend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein (sadly Adam died a year later).
According to Billboard, Travis told those in attendance at Get Real House that this will be an “unfiltered look at my journey after a life-changing experience and also spotlights the amazing people I have in my life who carried me through it. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to document it and be able to share it with all of you.”
Speaking to Kerrang! in 2019 about the tragic crash, Travis shared, “Any near-death experience is going to shake shit up. There was loss. I lost one of my best friends, my assistant. I lost my security guard. A year later I lost DJ AM. He was one of my best friends, too. So I had a lot of people that were really important to me in my life taken away. Beyond that, I looked death in the face and I survived.”
Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear is produced by Media Weaver Entertainment and directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer. Stay tuned for an official release date.
