A dark, epic new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore has arrived.

The third instalment of the Fantastic Beasts series introduces Mads Mikkelsen (replacing Johnny Depp) as the powerful Gellert Grindelwald, with Jude Law's Albus Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander and more teaming up to try to take him down (as well as apparently revealing a lot about Dumbledore's past).

A full synopsis of the David Yates-directed film reads: "Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the Wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?"

The film – which is due out on April 8, 2022 – also features Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and Katherine Waterston.
