The first teaser trailer for new Buzz Lightyear origin story Lightyear is here, ahead of the film's release next summer.

The one-and-a-half-minute look at next year's movie gives fans a glimpse at what's to come from the Toy Story hero's 'definitive origin story', which will see Captain America himself, Chris Evans, voicing Buzz.

"The phrase ‘a dream come true’ gets thrown around a lot, but I’ve never meant it more in my life," says the Marvel legend. "Anyone who knows me knows that my love for animated films runs deep. I can’t believe that I get to be a part of the Pixar family and work with these truly brilliant artists who tell stories unlike anyone else. Watching them work is nothing short of magic. I pinch myself every day.”

Lightyear is produced by Angus MacLane, and will hit cinemas on June 17, 2022.
