Heavy metal icons Spinal Tap reunited this weekend for a special performance to mark the 35th anniversary of their This Is Spinal Tap documentary.
Held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City as part of the Tribeca Film Festival, the audience were introduced to the film by director Rob Reiner before an acoustic performance from Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls. This is the band's first live show in a decade, last playing together in the summer of 2009 including sets at Wembley arena and Glastonbury festival.
The band played a nine song set including a guest appearance from Elvis Costello for Gimme Some Money.
